Viking Restaurant Harald Turku is the second oldest Harald restaurant in Finland: this Viking village’s colorful history began in March 1998. Our Turku location is known for its intimate atmosphere, being the smallest (and most charming) of all our Viking villages. The menu includes many Nordic classics, such as meats, fish, and cheeses, but we also offer tasty vegetarian options and, of course, choices for the little ones. Dishes are served in presentations that follow the restaurant’s Viking theme – arranged in a way that everyone can enjoy tasting together!
Host Parties or Gatherings at the Restaurant
Our restaurant in Turku can accommodate well over a hundred guests at a time. So don’t be shy about wanting to host a Viking feast-level lavish event at our restaurant! Parties were significant events for the Vikings, where the community celebrated important occasions such as birthdays, weddings, and victories in battles. We cherish this tradition and welcome groups of all sizes; from small bachelor parties to larger bookings.
Various Sized Private Spaces
Our restaurant in Turku features several private spaces and quieter areas for groups. In the front part of the restaurant, there’s Aegir, into which we can place three tables for ten people or smaller, 2-8 person tables. In the middle of the restaurant, there’s a hall named after Odin, suitable for tables of 2-10 people, with a total capacity of 40 guests. We call the back corner Thor’s Ground, where our largest tables are located and can seat up to 20 people at one, with a total capacity of 46 guests. Freya’s Cradle, on the other hand, is a charming private room with one table for eight that can also be set for twelve if needed.
